Easy Monkey Bread

When I first heard of Monkey bread, I thought the name was kinda silly.  And no, it is not made out of monkeys. lol. My mom told about this recipe, and that my grandma and great-grandma used to make this from scatch. I chose to go the easy way and use aready made dough. So I hope you enjoy this sweet, monkey bread as much I do.

Gather

3/4 cup granulated sugar (white sugar)
2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
4 cans (7.5oz Ea) refrigerated biscuits (I used pillsbury)
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
non stick spray

GO
preheat oven to 350

Spray a 12 cup bundt cake pan

Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon

Cut each biscuit into 4's

Place pieces into sugar and cinnamon mixure and toss to coat

Add butter and brown sugar in a bowl. Stir til combined.

Add coated biscuits to the pan and pour butter mixure over them

Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown

This bread is delicious served warm with a side of vanilla ice cream. Mmmmm so good!
