Mini Doughnuts

Have you ever imagined having biscuits for dessert? Now you can! You can have biscuits for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and now dessert! They are really easy to make just, shape, fry, and decorate. Now lets get cooking!

                                                     1/2 cup of confectioners' sugar
                                                           1 tablespoon of water
                                                          vegetable oil for cooking
1 pack of refrigerated biscuits (10 biscuits)
                                                             1 cup chocolate chips
sprinkles (forgot to add in picture below)

Open the biscuits and make a big hole in each using your fingers. (The hole will shrink as it cooks)
Mix the water and powdered sugar in a small bowl until smooth.

Pour the oil in the pan and add the doughnuts when they have a bubbly reaction to the oil. Cook for 8-10 seconds on each side. Add the glaze as soon as you take them out the pan. (Have an adult supervise you when working with hot oil)
Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave safe container for 1 min. and stir.
Dip one side of the doughnuts in the melted chocolate and add sprinkles while it's still wet.

Now, wasn't that fun? I sure enjoyed making these! The oil was the trickiest part, but the rest was easy. My favorite part was the sprinkles and of course tasting them. (I ate 3 1/2 doughnuts)

Chocolate Chip Dip

Lays wavy chips and french onion dip is a really tasty treat. But what if we turned it around and made it into something sweet, like chocolate chip dip and graham crackers. That sounds yummy doesn't it? Why don't we try it out!

Graham crackers (Any kind will do)
1 package (8 oz) of cream cheese softened
                                                      1/2 cup butter softened
                                                    3/4 cup confectioners' sugar
                                                 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
                                                     1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup (6 oz) miniature semisweet chocolate chips

In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and butter until light and fluffy.
Add the sugar and the vanilla ;beat until smooth.
                                                           Stir in the chocolate chips.
                                                       Serve with graham crackers.

Now that was quick and easy wasn't it? I hope you guys enjoy this treat as much as I did. Don't forget to place the left over dip in the refrigerator. ENJOY! :)
