Birthday Ice Cream Sandwiches

My birthday was a few days ago on June 26. I was at the beach at the time and I couldn't invite any friends.  I had had to celebrate my my 11th b-day some how. So I made these yummy ice cream sandwiches! They're perfect for a sleep over or party!

You Need
cookies (soft)
ice cream
sprinkles
candles (optional)

GO
First lay out 2 cookies of your choice and put the ice cream of your choice on 1 of the cookies. (You can make the cookies or buy them)

Then place the other cookie on top of the one with ice cream. Oh, and if the ice cream is messy around it you can smooth it out.

To decorate your sandwich pour sprinkles of your choice into a bowl or container. (I used the ice cream top)

To coat it you can either roll the part with the ice cream showing into the sprinkles or pick up the sandwich and sprinkle the sprinkles on. (can't wait to taste)

As you make them immediately place them in the freezer unless you want an ice cream puddle. :)
Enjoy!

Garden Pudding

IT'S EARTH DAY! I have a fun idea that's tasty too. This snack is perfect for earth day. It has "mud", "dirt", "grass', and "flowers!" Today is a day to show how much you love the earth. So eat this tasty treat and then you'll k,now how good the really can be!

Gather

4 chocolate pudding cups
1 cup coconut
green and red food coloring
a big pinch of fondant
edible pearls (forgot to add in photo)
12 oreos
gummy worms

GO
Empty your 4 pudding cups in a shallow pan or bowl

While adding pudding often drop the gummy worms in

Now crush up the oreos until really small and sprinkle them on top and cover up the pudding as good as you can.

Now take the coconut and put about 7 drops of green food dye in it and mix it with your hands, if you don't mind having green hands! (use tongs if you want)

Then take the fondant and add 2 drops of red food coloring (use crisco so it won't stick) and take a small flower cookie cutter then cut out flowers. Finally add the pearl in the middle and top it off.
Enjoy!

I hope you had fun making this. i also hope you now know that when you do a good job making the earth pretty, you'll get a wonderful come back. Enjoy earth day, I LOVE YOU EARTH! :)

Rice Krispy Treat 'Surprise' Eggs

These tasty treats are great for a Easter party. They're a little sticky while making them but it's so worth it. The best part about these is that there's a secret surprise inside the eggs. I hope you enjoy them!

Gather
6 cups mini marshmallows
6 cups rice krispies
3 tbsp butter or margarine
frosting
sprinkles
small candies
crisco (forgot to add in photo)
plastic egg

GO
Make the rice krispy treats according to the back of the cereal or marshmallows but don't put them in a pan.

Take the plastic egg and put the rice krispy treat mix into the egg but don't fill it in. to make it easier  rub crisco on your hands so it doesn't stick. (If it's sticking to the egg rub crisco in the egg to)

Do that until you think you have enough eggs. Then in the smaller piece add 3-4 small candies in each.

Then place the top onto he piece with the small candies

.

Now you can decorate the eggs just the way you want.

You now have some yummy easter eggs that will make your day!

Enjoy!

The frosting made these a little too sweet so you might just want to add sprinkles. But other than that these are the best! If you shake them when your done it'll sound like a maraca.

Mini Doughnuts

Have you ever imagined having biscuits for dessert? Now you can! You can have biscuits for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and now dessert! They are really easy to make just, shape, fry, and decorate. Now lets get cooking!

                                                                     Gather
                                                     1/2 cup of confectioners' sugar
                                                           1 tablespoon of water
                                                          vegetable oil for cooking
1 pack of refrigerated biscuits (10 biscuits)
                                                             1 cup chocolate chips
sprinkles (forgot to add in picture below)

                                                                             GO
Open the biscuits and make a big hole in each using your fingers. (The hole will shrink as it cooks)
Mix the water and powdered sugar in a small bowl until smooth.

Pour the oil in the pan and add the doughnuts when they have a bubbly reaction to the oil. Cook for 8-10 seconds on each side. Add the glaze as soon as you take them out the pan. (Have an adult supervise you when working with hot oil)
Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave safe container for 1 min. and stir.
Dip one side of the doughnuts in the melted chocolate and add sprinkles while it's still wet.
Enjoy!

Now, wasn't that fun? I sure enjoyed making these! The oil was the trickiest part, but the rest was easy. My favorite part was the sprinkles and of course tasting them. (I ate 3 1/2 doughnuts)
