Wichy Wands

How do witches cast spells? With their witchy wands of course. These wands taste soo good, believe me you won't need a magic spell to make them disappear. This treat is a little messy but soo much fun!



GATHER

30 caramels

1 tablespoon butter

2 teaspoons milk

1 (10-ounce) bag of pretzel rods

3/4 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

sprinkles

non-stick cooking spray

baking sheet

microwave safe bowls

coffee mug

mixing spoon

GO

Spray the non stick cooking spay onto the baking sheet. Set aside.

Microwave the caramels, butter, and milk in a mirowave safe bowl for 40 seconds (watch carefully)

Stir and microwave an extra 30 seconds. Be sure there are no lumps.

Now take one of the pretzel rods and use a mixing spoon to coat a little over a half of  the pretzel with the caramel. Place the pretzel rod on the baking sheet and allow to cool.

Put the chocolate chips in the coffee mug, and  microwave for 30 seconds. (Please watch carefully because I burned it the first time and had to do it again. I also used a liquid measuring cup since I burned the chocolate in the mug. Opps.)Once the caramel has cooled, dip the pretzels in the chocolate covering not even half of it allowing some of the caramel to show. I used the back of a spoon which it easier to spread. 

 Cover the chocolate part of the pretzel with sprinkles (my favorite part) I put a bowl underneath to catch the falling sprinkles.

Place the pretzels on a tray and allow chocolate to cool at room tempeture for 2 hours or in refrigerator for 20 minutes.

Phewww! Finally finished. That took awhile but I did it. Now time for the best part...yum yum!
